Sick of High Gas Prices?
Let our voices be heard!
Join me on a ride for
freedom from gas prices.
Jump on you horses and show
you support to lower gas prices.
Gas prices have hit home, as
we all know. We must let our government know how we feel and how it’s affecting
our daily lives.
Having to work longer and
harder to keep what we have. Giving up luxuries like food in lieu of medicines,
buying your children’s clothing from second hand stores. Visiting food banks in
order to make ends meet.
Most of us have to work 4
days a week on average just to drive to work, pay health insurance, and taxes.
We work 5 days a week and only bring home a 1-day paycheck. It costs my husband
$120.00 per week for gas and that’s using a 6 cylinder car. Our truck remains
parked in our yard.
A person working at minimum
wage must work one free hour per gallon of gas that averages approximately 2 -
3 full days of working for free just to get to work. Then there are taxes,
insurance, etc. Do the math!!!
Most of us are on the verge
of quitting our jobs because we cannot afford to get there. Thus, more and more
of us will be forced to go on Federal aide, food stamps, and Medicare.
We
live to work,
We work to live,
When will it end?
When will it give?
When will it stop?
We are heading for a nation
wide catastrophe!
It looks as if we’ll have to
resort to the barter system, growing our own veggies, raising our own meats,
hatching our own eggs, and raising certain animals for there pelts to make our
own clothing. Our country is not moving ahead, but regressing at a tremendous
rate.
Would you like to join me
for the ride to protest high gas prices? If so, the staging area will begin at
my property on Jenny Ln. in Eustis, in Lake County Florida.
Contact me, Anna Jolly, by
e-mail ASAP. I would like to schedule the ride for July 4th, 2008.
If this date is not possible, then soon there after.
I would like to personally
invite everyone to come and support us, be it on the back of a horse or just by
standing on the side lines cheering us on. I would like to have people from all
walks of life, be you poor or rich, doctors, lawyers, news paper reporters,
news stations, or general laborers; anyone who wants to do this ride to express
our concerns about the rising gas prices.
I am currently working on
the legalities, so if there are any lawyers out there that would like to get involved;
we could use your expertise. I believe that we can make a difference!
We will begin the ride from
my property, where there is sufficient room for trucks and trailers. From there
we will proceed down Calhoun Rd. to S.R. 44-A, making a right turn. We will
continue straight on 44-A to Trout Lake Park. This is approximately a 13mile
round trip ride. For the most part we will have large roadsides available to
pull off onto at any time. Make sure you as well as your horse are physically
prepared for this ride.
Each and every rider that
participates in this ride will be solely responsible for him or her self as
well as their horse before, during and after the ride. At no time will my
family, my property, or I be held liable for any accidents, arrest, and or
deaths, which could arise from this ride.
We encourage any and all
responses to this urgent matter of our everyday lives.
